Here we go with another one that is bound to get people all worked up because of my opinion on musicians, but this is my opinion of who the 10 best guitarists are that died too young. If these guys did not pass away prematurely I am sure they would still be going strong with innovative and fresh guitar work. Once again, this is NOT a definitive list of the 10 BEST, just some of them. A definitive list of the 10 best of anything, especially musicians, is impossible because of different tastes in music and peoples varying opinions.
Teddy Diaz Died at 25

Good list. There are some in there that I’d completely forgotten about.
Very nice list, those guitarist greatly inspired other young guitar enthusiasts…
This list fails to mention Steve Clark of Def Leppard, who passed away at the age of 30 in 1991. What a shame it is that he’s gone, it was a tragedy.
I’d also add Paul Kossoff of Free died at 25. Tommy Bolin of James Gang, Deep Purple and solo died at 25. Lowell George of Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention and founder of Little Feat died at 34.
Chuldinar
Vaughn
Hendrix
Johnny Ramone
Brian Jones
Angus Young
Slovak
Ritchie Valens
Buddy Holly
Shaun Lane
When I think about what Randy could’ve accomplished if he were still alive today… and how much more depressing the world is without Dime and SRV…
Duane Allman
Where is Duane Allman…
You forgot Rory Gallagher who died at 47.He was a great guitarist.
